Child Safety Standards

Hoyoo is for adults 18+. We prohibit child sexual abuse and exploitation in every form.

Updated October 21, 2026STARSEQ LIMITED

1. Adults only. No exceptions.

These public standards apply to Hoyoo, operated by STARSEQ LIMITED. Everyone using Hoyoo must be at least 18. False age information, accounts created for children and attempts to evade age restrictions are prohibited. A parent’s permission does not make a child eligible.

2. Prohibited abuse and exploitation

We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) or child sexual abuse material (CSAM). This includes grooming, sexual solicitation of a child, sexual extortion, trafficking, sexualised depictions of minors and attempts to create, request, trade, link to or distribute such material. The prohibition includes computer-generated or manipulated material depicting child sexual abuse.

Content or behaviour that endangers a child, encourages abuse, threatens a child or facilitates contact for exploitation is prohibited. Do not use a child’s identity or create an account on a child’s behalf.

3. How to report a child-safety concern

Use the reporting option available on a profile or conversation in the Hoyoo app. You may also contact our child-safety team directly at service@hoyoo.cc with the subject Hoyoo child safety report.

Give the profile/account identifier, where the concern occurred, the approximate time and a short description. Do not download, forward or attach suspected CSAM to an email. Reference the location or message instead. If someone is in immediate danger, contact the appropriate local emergency service.

4. Review, removal and reporting

We review child-safety reports and take appropriate protective action. When we become aware of CSAM or exploitation in our service, actions can include restricting access to the material, removing content, disabling accounts, preserving necessary evidence under applicable law and preventing further abuse.

We report apparent child sexual exploitation or abuse to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) or another relevant authority where required by applicable law, and cooperate with lawful investigations. We handle reports and any retained evidence with appropriate access restrictions.

5. Child-safety contact and review

Our child-safety contact channel is service@hoyoo.cc. Put Child safety in the subject so the request can be routed for review. This channel is available to users, safety organisations and competent authorities.

We review these standards as our service and applicable requirements change. See also our Community Guidelines and Privacy Policy.
